The Test Drive

Looking to make an impact on the hungry and homeless population, Food From The Heart is in the planning stages for a very aggressive growth and training period.

While the model has not changed, our approach has.  We are actively seeking churches and community groups that are interested in making an impact in their community.  Serving is like going to the gym, it is hard to get out of bed and go work out, but when we do we feel amazing.  Serving others is the type of work out that our heart really needs.

South Carolina

In March of 2009, Food From The Heart will take its first steps in South Carolina with a 10 county food drive.  So far 10 churches in 8 counties have committed to be involved and the effort is growing.  The drive will grow as time goes on, but with the commitments that we are working with we will be serving in front of 150 grocery stores or more on that Saturday in March.  

While the Test Drive in March is the largest known food drive planned and would be unprecedented, this is leading up to a larger drive set for the summer.  A drive that will be in all 42 counties in South Carolina and would see several thousand people being trained to serve in front of over 400 grocery stores.

Student Service

Yes, we are approved for fulfilling your student service requirements.  Our program is currently being reviewed in most school districts and should be approved for the March 28th food drive.  Please register now to serve.
